Tens of thousands of pets have already been reported missing in Ukraine during the wartime. We need to ensure that all pets can easily be returned to their loving families in this time, when a pet may be all that people have left. We have already provided 250,000+ tags and registrations for people and pets in Ukraine. We estimate that there are 200,000 more pets that need this service, so we need to raise $120,000 in order to ensure all pets are covered. Thanks for donating & helping pets!
Prior to the war, pet identification was not popular in Ukraine. According to Wikipedia, almost 5.2 million refugees have left Ukraine, while an estimated 7.1 million people had been displaced within the country by 1 April. During an emergency evacuation or when there are a lot of explosions around, there is a high risk of losing a pet. This causes the pets unable to be reunited with the owners. The goal of this project is to prevent as many pets from getting lost in an emergency as possible.

200.000+ war-affecting pets in Ukraine will be protected from being lost as they will be registered and identified. The promotional campaign will educate people that pet identification is the basic to stop pet loss. If an identified and registered pet will lose its owners and will be adopted, a new family will have more information about the pet.
