Dear Donor,
We're glad to send you some news from our activities in the Philippines. This summer, 35 new girls have been admitted in our centers. If you're interested to sponsor one of them, feel free to contact us: parrainages@cameleon-association.org

Empowering Young Women Through the "Rehabilitation" Program
The young girls in our "Rehabilitation" program receive comprehensive support throughout their journey towards autonomy. This includes therapeutic, legal, and healthcare assistance tailored to their individual needs.
Healthcare Support
All new arrivals receive thorough and consistent healthcare. Upon joining our centers, each girl undergoes a dental check-up and receives a flu vaccine as part of their initial health assessments.
In addition, we prioritize staff training to ensure swift and effective responses to medical emergencies. Five staff members and four coordinators have been certified as first responders through CAMELEON. After passing both theoretical and practical assessments, each certified first responder was awarded a certificate and an identification card.
Therapeutic Activities
Therapeutic support is essential to help young survivors of sexual violence in their healing process. Each girl undergoes comprehensive psychological assessments upon arrival, forming the basis of their individualized therapeutic care plan.
Several therapeutic activities are organized by CAMELEON’s trained staff to foster healing and resilience:
Legal Assistance
Since all girls residing in our centers have experienced sexual violence, many pursue legal action against their perpetrators. CAMELEON supports them throughout the legal process, preparing them for potential testimonies and offering emotional support during court hearings.
Since August, eight new legal cases have been initiated, with guidance and support from our trained staff.
This holistic approach demonstrates our commitment to the comprehensive well-being and recovery of these young women, providing a safe environment and specialized support essential for their empowerment. Thank you for your support in making this transformative journey possible.
