Career Guidance Activity: “Empowering Future: Exploring Diverse Career Paths” (October 2025)

In October, CAMELEON conducted a Career Guidance Activity titled “Empowering Future: Exploring Diverse Career Paths”, aimed at broadening the horizons of 31 girls in Grades 10-12 by introducing them to a wider range of professional opportunities. Through interactive sessions with professionals from different institutions, participants gained valuable real-world insights into potential career paths and were encouraged to reflect on their unique strengths, interests, and aspirations. The activity created a supportive space for discussion and self-discovery, helping the girls envision possibilities beyond their previous expectations. Many left feeling motivated and empowered, with a renewed sense of confidence in their ability to pursue meaningful futures aligned with their talents. By connecting participants with mentors and positive role models, this initiative reinforced CAMELEON’s commitment to fostering autonomy, resilience, and informed decision-making among young survivors of abuse and disadvantaged youth.

Celebrating Children’s Month with Courage and Purpose (November 2025)

In November, CAMELEON proudly joined the 15th “Children’s Showcase: Fight for Child Safety and Rights” at Supermall City Iloilo, as part of Children’s Month celebrations. 30 girls of the Cirquera de CAMELEON (CDC) performed to convey messages about children’s rights, resilience, and the importance of safeguarding every child from abuse and exploitation, transforming circus arts into a powerful platform for advocacy. With courage, creativity, and heart, the CDC demonstrated how artistic expression can become a meaningful tool for empowerment and awareness. Their performance went beyond entertainment, inspiring audiences to reflect on child protection issues and encouraging collective responsibility in defending children’s rights. Together with local partners, CAMELEON reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to creating a future where every child can grow safely, freely, and with dignity.

CAMELEON Family Day & Christmas Holiday Update (December 2025)

December brought a warm and meaningful conclusion to the year with a Family Day celebration for beneficiaries of both the In-House and Aftercare programs across Panay and Negros islands. Designed to strengthen family bonds and create joyful shared experiences, the event provided opportunities for connection, laughter, and reassurance for both the girls and their families. During the holiday season, girls who were able to safely return home spent valuable time reconnecting with loved ones and celebrating Christmas together. For those who remained in the centers, CAMELEON organized festive activities that ensured the spirit of the holidays remained alive, offering moments of joy, companionship, and belonging. Throughout all activities, the safety, emotional well-being, and protection of every child remained a top priority. These celebrations highlighted the importance of nurturing relationships and reaffirmed CAMELEON’s commitment to holistic care, empowerment, and creating supportive environments where young survivors can continue to heal and thrive.
