What a year this has been! As we have helped more and more American victims of domestic violence abroad, we have needed to also provide food, veterinary certificates and airline approved cabin carriers to ensure the pets of the victims we serve return safely home with their pets.
We only expect the need to assist pets in domestic violence to increase in 2019.
That is why we created a microproject for this purpose. https://www.globalgiving.org/microprojects/please-help-rescue-10-pets-in-2019/
It costs an average of $300 to bring a small pet home in the airline cabin. Much more for larger pets that must be transported in the cargo hold.
