Giorgio is safely home in the United States alongside his human mom, thanks to your compassion. When she made the brave decision to leave an abusive situation in Belgium, she could not imagine starting over without the loyal companion who had been her steady source of comfort through the darkest days. Pathways worked to ensure that both survivor and pet could relocate together, coordinating the complex logistics required for safe international return.
Today, Giorgio curls up beside her in a home free from fear. His presence brings calm, routine, and unconditional love during a time of rebuilding. Because of your generosity, this survivor did not have to choose between safety and her beloved companion — and healing can begin with every wag of Giorgio’s tail.
