When Brittany contacted us a few months ago she was trying to escape her abuser in Albania. She had already gotten a repatriation loan from the American Embassy, but it would not cover cost of pet relocation, even when a victim was escaping domestic violence.
We were able to help Britttany by helping her with the costs of Kaa's vet certificate, his airline approved carrier and find a foster home for Kaa while Brittany went into shelter.
Brittany would have nerver left Albania without Kaa as she knew her abuser would have killed her beloved kitty in revenge for her leaving. Because of your donations, she did not have to make the horrible choice.
