Nuxie, a beloved family dog, is safe in the United States thanks to your support!
When Nuxie’s family, an abused American mother and two chidren, fled horrific domestic violence in Japan, leaving their pet behind was not an option—Nuxie was part of their safety and healing. Pathways coordinated emergency planning, international transport, and safe relocation so the family and Nuxie could escape together.
Reunited and secure, Nuxie continues to provide comfort, emotional stability, and a sense of normalcy during an incredibly difficult transition.
Your generosity ensured this family did not have to choose between safety and love, honoring the deep bonds with pets that help survivors heal and rebuild their lives.
