Malisa had been communicating with a Pathways advocate for several months via email planning her escape from her abuser. She had everything arranged except for a place to keep her furbaby, Anselmo, when she arrived back to the USA.
A Pathways' advocate was able to provide Malisa with a list of shelters that had facilities for pets as well as foster homes for Anselmo.
We are happy to report that Malisa and Anselmo are back together and living safely in a home without violence!
