Kanoodle is one happy puppy because of you! Kanoodle's mom Anila emailed us in desperation. Her fiancé was abusing her, but even worse, in her eyes, he was withholding food and water from Kanoodle as a punishment for Anila.
Kanoodle was terrified of Anila's abuser. Cowering and hiding behind the furniture whenever he would enter the room and begin ranting, screaming and insulting Anila.
With some careful safety planning, and help from Anila's aunt and uncle, Kanoodle is safe! Albeit, still skittish of men and strangers. Slowly but surely, Kanoodle is feeling more confident about learning what a safe home feels like back in the USA.
