Poppy is August's fur baby. While living in Thailand, August rescued Poppy from the streets.
Unfortunately, August's abusive partner did not want Poppy and withheld food and water from Poppy as a punishment for August.
August had endured a lot of abuse from her partner, but when he began to abuse Poppy, August had enough.
August contacted us via our crisis email to find out what her options were for getting back home to the USA with Poppy.
We explained to her what the process would be for getting a pet from Thailand to the USA, let her know we could help with relocation costs for Poppy and provided some safety planning and technology safety information.
August told us she had money saved and could pay to get Poppy home. But she was grateful for all of the information and safety planning we provided.
She told us that once she gets back on her feet in the USA she plans to donate to this project to help other pets get home safely.
We want to thank you for supporting this project so we can help abused pets abroad come home to safety!
