Charlotte was desperate to escape abuse with her dog Tanner. Her fiance had become so violent that she feared she may not make it out of the foreign country alive.
Charlotte had gone to the American Embassy to get a repatriation loan, but they don't cover pet relocation. And she would not leave Tanner behind to be abused or killed. Tanner was a rescue that had already had a difficult life and Charlotte was determined to save him from any more abuse and give him a loving home. Tanner was her family.
We helped Charlotte make arrangements with a veterinarian to get a health certificate for Tanner. She was able to find a used airline approved carrier, and Pathways paid for Tanner's airline ticket home.
Charlotte is home with Tanner and she is feeling so much relief. She says she doesn't know what she would have done without us.
We are so very grateful for your believe in our mission so we can help victims like Charlotte and Tanner! Thank you!
