Chisomo is a single monther of 4 living in Magazine, a peri urban community in Chipata. Struggling to fend for her 4 children, she decided to get a job as a maid, which was not well paying.. The struggle continued untill she heard of Kukula Micro Loan Program and decided to enroll on the program.
6 months today, Chisomo makes $275 monthly profit from her small stand were she sales vegetables, tomatos and other dry foods.
Chisomo is able to put her children in School, afford a monthly contribution for a medical insurance and also bought a 20x30 piece of plot to start building her home.
Like Chisomo many women have continued benefiting from our microloan program, thanks to donors and supporters like you.
Together we are creating opportunities for women in rural and peri urban communities of Eastern Province and helping them to embark on a road to break the cycle of poverty in their family.
Thanks for your continued support our donors.
