Malaria threatens millions of families every year especially people living in slums and rural areas of Nigeria. This project will provide 1,500 mosquito nets to vulnerable households, protecting children and adults from malaria. By distributing these life-saving nets, we empower families to stay healthy, attend school, and work without the constant burden of disease. Your support saves lives and strengthens communities.
Malaria is a leading cause of illness and death in slums and rural communities in Nigeria, especially for children under five. Many families cannot afford mosquito nets, leaving them exposed to deadly mosquito bites. Lack of protection leads to school absences, lost income, and preventable deaths. Without intervention, these communities remain trapped in a cycle of illness and poverty.
We will distribute 1,500 long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito nets to high-risk families. Along with the nets, families will receive education on proper usage and malaria prevention. This combined approach ensures maximum protection, reduces infection rates, and equips communities to maintain healthy households for years to come.
Our goal is to reduce malaria incidence among 1,500 families, saving lives and improving overall community health. Children can attend school consistently, and adults can work without disruption from illness. By preventing malaria today, we create a foundation for healthier, more productive, and resilient communities tomorrow.
