Our team continues to implement a humanitarian project to provide families of internally displaced persons (IDPs) with essential food packages. This project is carried out thanks to your donations, and it is your support that enables us to help those who are in particular need now.
We systematically provide assistance to families who have found themselves in extremely difficult conditions due to war, loss of housing, income, and their usual way of life. The main focus is on families with children, especially those raising three or more children.
Why is this important:
Food prices continue to rise rapidly, especially for basic categories such as bread, butter, cereals, and dairy products. This growth is accompanied by a decrease in the purchasing power of the population and a complete or partial loss of income for most affected families. Many of them, especially IDPs and large families, live below the poverty line, often without stable work, social benefits, or other sources of income.
In such a situation, even basic products become an unaffordable luxury, and the choice between buying food, medicine, or paying for utilities is a daily reality for thousands of people.
For many families, our food packages are not just support, but a real opportunity to survive. This is a chance to provide their children with adequate nutrition at least for the next few days, to feel that they are not abandoned in this protracted and exhausting crisis.
It is important to understand: the crisis in Ukraine continues, and its consequences are becoming more profound and protracted. In these conditions, systemic humanitarian aid remains a lifeline for the most vulnerable. This is why support for the project is no less important today than it was in the first months of the war.
All this is possible only thanks to you!
Your donations are real support for specific people. Thanks to you, dozens of families receive food every week and the feeling that they are not alone.
So, over the past two weeks, more than 30 families received support in the form of food packages and personal hygiene products.
We receive sincere words of gratitude from parents who are happy to see that their children will not go hungry. We see their smiles - and this is your merit.
