Dear Project Supporters,
We greatly appreciate your continued support that enables more families to receive the bed nets they need to protect themselves from Malaria. The long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) provide an effective barrier and protection from mosquito bites. By providing these bed nets to families we are truly saving lives...YOU are saving lives!
Isata, pictured above, is one of the students that has received a bed net. Isata is in Junior Secondary School (JSS2) and would like to be a nurse when she grows up.
Dauda, pictured below, is another student that has received a bed net. Dauda is in class 3 and hopes to be a lawyer when he grows up.
The overall global malaria mortality rate has decreased by nearly half: From more than 860,000 malaria deaths per year to an estimated 445,000 deaths in 2016. -Friends of the Global Fight
In order to keep the number of deaths decreasing, we will continue to provide bed nets to families until every person is protected from Malaria. We are additionally providing diagnosis and treatment of malaria. We are convinced that together we will one day see a world with no malaria. Thank you so much for your ongoing support!
