By Amy Baty-Herbert | Project Leader
We are deeply grateful for your support, which is helping provide long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs), also known as bed nets or mosquito nets, to families and individuals in Sierra Leone. These mosquito nets create an effective barrier against mosquito bites, protecting families as they sleep.
Thanks to the mosquito nets they received, children like Desmond, pictured above, can now focus on their education instead of worrying about malaria. Desmond will be starting his first year of junior secondary school this fall.
In addition to Desmond, 28 other beneficiaries and their families recently received mosquito nets in Bo.
Your continued support is invaluable as we strive to provide more families in Sierra Leone with protective long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs). Please share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
If you have any questions, please email us at GlobalGiving@developafrica.org.
With great appreciation,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
