Thanks in part to your generous support, families are receiving insecticide-treated mosquito nets that help protect them from one of the country’s most serious health threats.
These mosquito nets provide a protective barrier against mosquito bites during the night, significantly reducing the risk of malaria infection. For children, especially, this protection is critical. Healthy children are more likely to attend school consistently, stay focused in class, and continue progressing toward their educational goals.
Families expressed heartfelt appreciation for this support and the sense of security the mosquito nets provide. Agness shared her gratitude, saying:
"Thank you, Develop Africa, for giving us this mosquito net. Thank you very much for protecting us from malaria."
Her words reflect the real impact your generosity is making. These mosquito nets are not simply household items—they are life-saving tools that help families sleep safely and reduce the constant worry of illness.
Your support is helping create healthier homes, stronger communities, and brighter futures for children across Sierra Leone. By helping prevent malaria, you are also helping protect education, opportunity, and hope for the next generation.
Thank you for your continued commitment to malaria prevention.
With gratitude,
Amy & the Develop Africa Team
