Dear donors,
Midwives in rural Nigeria often walk long distances to reach pregnant women, delaying prenatal care, safe deliveries, and postnatal follow-ups. This project will provide 50 bicycles, enabling midwives to travel faster, carry essential supplies, and attend to more women in remote communities. The increased mobility will reduce maternal and infant risks, improve timely care, and enhance the overall health of mothers and newborns.
Some donations have already been made, but the funds received are not enough to fully purchase and distribute the bicycles. Additional support is needed to equip all midwives and start the program. Your contribution will help midwives reach every mother, save lives, and strengthen maternal health services in underserved villages.
Warm regards,
Joy O. Etubi
