This project will support cataract surgeries for low income patients in Ghana who cannot afford treatment, helping restore their sight and improve their quality of life.
Cataracts are a leading cause of preventable blindness in Ghana. Many poor families cannot pay for surgery, leaving adults unable to work and children unable to learn properly because of impaired vision.
We will cover the cost of cataract surgeries, provide post surgery care, and organize community screening programs to identify patients who need help.
Restoring sight will allow beneficiaries to return to work, care for their families, and live independently. Communities will benefit from healthier and more productive individuals, creating lasting social and economic improvements.
