Background
Together we can empower individuals in Africa who are interested in creating small businesses. This will give them the opportunity to get out of poverty and help in the development of their community through boosting economic development. We will provide small loans for business investments as well as training and coaching to entrepreneurs in the rural areas of the Maritime Region in Togo. In February 2021, we reached our initial funding goal of USD 10,000 and we have now raised the target.
Project update
As in any organisation must we always be on out toes and work with the team spirit. We are right now reviewing this very topic in our programme in Togo.
A local Stakeholder Committee is established in all Action10 programmes that shall implement the Milestones in actual practice, and its members are carefully selected in order to make sure they possess an adequate level of the following three characteristics:
i) intrinsic motivation
ii) overall qualifications/skills, and
iii) agency and authority to implement change.
The operations of the Stakeholder Committee are key, as it is the Stakeholder Committee that is in charge of driving change in actual practice. We call the operations of the Stakeholder Committee RISEagency. Measures are taken to ensure capacity and an enabling environment, including continuous reviews.
Thank you for your support!
