Provide food for 100 elderly people in Nepal

Community Development  Centre (CDC)  Kathmandu Nepal has been supporting the people affected by  earthquake in Nepal  .  Recently we distributed school dress and stationery   to 300 students at Sundara Higher Secondary School  Sundaradevi,VDC ward no. 2 Satbise  in Nuwakot district   of  central Nepal.

This is  one of the Government schools of Nuwakot District Nepal. It  has been seriously hit by seismic tremor on April 25 and May 12, 2015. All its frameworks have been broken. The seismic tremor hit 13 classrooms including one computer  lab, one educator staff room and one library room. Downright five PCs, one printer and also PC furniture have been spoilt.  

Thus it has been extremely troublesome for the school administration board to run classes at the school. The classes have been running in the  broken  rooms up the all that much terrifying circumstance. There is threat of cracked walls  to break and harm the students  and the instructors. The school administration is   still worried about possible earthquake. At the point when the climate is terrible the school organization is compelled to close the school and advise the students to go  home.

 It is to a great  essential that all the classrooms, and in addition different rooms ought to be repaired and ought to be made a suitable domain for powerful showing learning circumstance for the school. The school ought to have a PC lab with enough PCs to show PC subject to the understudies. The library rooms ought to be repaired and outfitted with enough books.  We are excited to share   a good news with all our donors. With your valuable donation we have been supporting the school going kids from the earthquake affected families in Nepal.

On June 30, 2015 CDC Nepal committee members visited  Balkumari village development committees   of Nuwakot district  and studied about the loss due  to  earthquake on 25^th April, 2015.We  also visited  Kalyan Higher  secondary school , Kamere Gaon. We met school management committee, teacher staff students and other local people and talked to them.

 We found that it is one of the badly hit schools of the district. The school building has been broken.  Almost all the class rooms   have   been crumbled away. The teachers have been teaching under the tarpaulin as well as open yard.

Till now the school has not received any financial support from any source. However, Tadi Khola Hydro Power Company donated only one tent to the school. It has been used to run grade seven.

 On behalf of our organization we distributed school stationery to 397 students studying there. The kids were very much pleased to receive the stationery like copies ball pens, pencils etc. At the end of the program the chairman of the school management committee, as well as the head teacher extended their  heartiest  thanks to our  organization.

We will have to do a lot to achieve our fund raising goal. For this task we need your valuable support. We would like to request you to share our program among network families and friends.
