Provide food for 35 elderly people in Nepal

Dear friends,

We have very good news to share with you . By the grace of God all the 35 people at Manakamana old age Home Khandbari are living happily till now. However, among them one 92  year – old  woman  has been taken to hospital  by their  relatives. Another  82 –year- old  woman is well. She  can still cook and  eat herself

A 82 year old woman said." I may and go to another world soon. I may not be able to see you again. Please tell my best wish to all who have helped our old age home till now. In the last stage of my life I pray to god for peace, Prosperity, happiness and long life to all.''

All the elderly people at the old age home spend most of their time praying to God and hymn. They pray two hours in the morning, four hours during the day and two hours in the evening.

Last a visitor Melissa Pertusi from Brazil  visited the old age  home. The elderly people were happy to take picture with her.

With our donors' valuable donation through Global giving organization we have been able to distribute food stuff and other necessary materials to them from time to time

However, we will have to do a lot to achieve our fund raising goal. We cannot do it without your help. Once again we would like to request you to:

We have very good news to share with you today. By the grace of God all the 35 people at Manakamana old age Home Khandbari are living happily till now. However, among them one woman is 92 years old and another one 82 years old. They are very old and weak. They are unable to cook and eat themselves. They cannot get up from their bed without somebody' help. Other people are taking care of them.

On the auspicious occasion of World environmental day May 5, 2014, Khandbari municipality managed medical checkup for them. The district hospital doctor checked all the elderly people and also gave them some necessary medicine in free of cost.

On the auspicious occasion Sankhuwasabha district Health Office also arranged a sanitation program around the Old Age Home. In the program the elderly people were taught about personal hygiene, cleanliness as well as how to be healthy.
