This reporting period has highlighted one of the most difficult challenges in our child-protection work: the system’s at current was not able to provide safe shelter for two young victims (this case was rescued in January 2025). While both boys urgently require stability, care, and long-term protection, current government services offer very limited support for boys, especially those who have experienced trauma.
Despite these systemic limitations, our team has remained fully committed to ensuring that these children are not left behind. We have been actively working with provincial social service officers to secure appropriate care arrangements and advocate for other options. Though, the process has been slow and complex, but we are not giving up. Our goal is to ensure that the boys receive not only immediate safety, but also a sustainable plan for their future.
In the meantime, our staff continue to visit the boys regularly, providing emotional support, essential supplies, and follow-up monitoring to ensure their safety and well-being.
Your support makes this ongoing care possible. While the system struggles to meet their needs, you help ensure these boys are not forgotten. We remain committed to standing with them for as long as necessary and will continue to advocate for a stronger, more inclusive child-protection system in Thailand.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. The struggle is real—but so is our determination to protect every child.
