Make A Wish: Smiling Children with Dress, Gift & Food

By Team | RSKS India

Respected Donor !

Warm Greetings from RSKS India Family ......

It is observed in the slum and streets everywhere around the world that the children living there are not having proper clothes to wear. This is because of their parent’s poor financial condition. It is a dream of these children to wear new dresses. These slum and street children also do not know about the heat stroke as there is no one who would tell them about how to get protection from the heat stroke and in result these children to get heat stroke and face the complications due to it. This makes the situation more worse as their parents poor financial condition is not even able to make them go well soon and then the children’s mental as well as physical health is affected due to the heat stroke. Many times a heat stroke could also go life threatening so the knowledge about how to prevent us from getting a heat stroke is very important. Rajasthan is a very hot state as here the temperature go above 46 degree Celsius which is very important to keep in mind before going out.

While keeping all this in mind, Rajasthan Samgrah KalyanSansthan organized Cotton T-shirt, Sleeper Sandal, Soft Drink & Food Packet Distribution to Street & Slum Children & Awareness Program About Health & Protection From Heat Stroke under the Make A Wish With Street & Slum Children project of RSKS India. In this program, around 600 slum and street children of 23 different slum and rural areas were provided new tshirts, sleepers, Food Packets (Cream Roll, Biscuits, Soft Drinks, Swiss roll, fan, cup cake, Juice/Sharbat etc) and along with this Mass Awareness About Health & Protection From Heat Stroke to Street & Slum Children was done. The children were told about the heat stroke through different flipcharts, stories, card sheets etc so that the children as well as their parents could understand about it in a better way.

Many slum and street children who never wore a new dress were able to wear new t-shirts & slippers for the first time through this Cotton T-shirt, Sleeper Sandal, Soft Drink & Food Packet Distribution to Street & Slum Children & Awareness Program About Health & Protection From Heat Stroke Program of RSKS India. These children were very happy because their families did not earn enough to get them new clothes & slippers. All the kids were very happy wearing the new t-shirt & slippers. Food Packets (Cream Roll, Biscuits, Soft Drinks, Swiss roll, fan, cup cake, Juice/Sharbat etc)were also enjoyed and eaten by the slum/street children. These children had a very memorable day as they got new dress & slippers and also delicious food items to eat and after all this they also got the information on how to protect themselves from heat stroke. A small initiative to make the slum/street children feel like mainstream society children was being appraised by the family members as well as local people residing in or near the slums and all of them thanked RSKS India and donors for this wonderful support.

Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.

Many Regards
