As we say goodbye to 24 preschool girls and boys transferring to the local primary school this year, The Sunshine Charity is proud that the foundation the children have received at our day care center will enable a smooth integration for these children with new peers in their future schools. Opportunities like healthcare, nutritious morning meals and educational programmes, which include English language classes, have helped them gain confidence and recognise that they are a valuable part of a larger society. Through exposure to local and internationally facilitated workshops--from art and movement to sports and interactive play programmes--the sunshine kids have developed resilience and courage, which will allow them to face greater challenges in their future.
We wish our 24 children the best of luck in their new schools.
