Dear Donors,
Motorcycle riders in Nigeria face a high risk of fatal head injuries, yet most cannot afford helmets. Nearly 99% of riders rent motorcycles and earn too little to buy protective gear. The “Provide Helmets to 1,500 Nigerian Motorcycle Riders” project will distribute helmets and deliver safety education in urban and rural communities. By equipping riders with proper protection and knowledge, we aim to reduce injuries and deaths while promoting a culture of road safety.
During community distribution sessions, riders will learn the importance of helmet use and safe riding practices. Each helmet provides immediate protection, and the accompanying education encourages others to adopt similar safety measures. This approach will help save lives, prevent severe injuries, and reduce financial burdens on families affected by accidents.
The first donation received brings hope for this initiative, but additional contributions are needed to reach the funding level required to begin distributing helmets. With your support, 1,500 riders will gain life-saving protection and knowledge, creating safer roads and fostering long-term awareness about motorcycle safety across Nigeria.
Warm regards,
