Dear donors,
We are grateful for your generous support and for helping protect infants whose mothers cannot breastfeed due to medical conditions. Your contributions are giving these babies a chance to grow strong and healthy.
In Nigeria, thousands of infants lose access to breastfeeding when mothers undergo double mastectomy or face other serious health issues. Many families cannot afford formula, leaving babies at risk of malnutrition, stunted growth, and preventable illness. In rural areas, unsafe substitutes like diluted cow’s milk or starchy gruels are often used, putting infants’ lives in danger.
This project provides infant formula, bottles, and safe feeding kits to babies whose mothers cannot breastfeed. Supplies are delivered through hospitals and community health centers, with guidance on safe preparation and feeding. By providing proper nutrition, your support helps infants grow stronger, stay healthier, and reduces the risk of infections and malnutrition.
At present, the funds raised are not yet sufficient to fully deliver supplies, and we continue to seek additional support to reach all babies even a single donation can provide a month of safe feeding, protect a baby’s health, and give families hope during a difficult time.
With thanks,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
