The campaign seeks to raise funds for urgent medical care and hospital supplies, food and water distribution, and shelter for the displaced affected by the conflict. The humanitarian crisis in Palestine, particularly in Gaza, has been escalating daily since October 2023, causing destruction, casualties, and shortages of essential resources.
Over 2 years of relentless bombings and continuous blockades have left the Palestinians, particularly those in Gaza, in dire straits. Since October 2023, the medical situation has been critical with the majority of hospitals in Gaza being rendered out of service - leaving survivors displaced and in need of medical treatment. Beyond the immediate threat of violence, they grapple with shortages of food, clean water, medical supplies, and essential amenities.
We aim to raise money to provide immediate and long-term relief to the Palestinians. These funds will primarily address urgent medical supplies to ensure the constant operation of Gaza's remaining Hospitals in the face of Israeli aggression.
The significant long-term impact will first be by addressing the trauma and restoring the healthcare system. SGI will also ensure food security and access to clean water after the conflict. Infrastructure and shelter development to provide housing solutions is also one of our top priorities to encourage and help the Palestinian people stay in Palestine and not leave their lands.
