We are immensely grateful for your continued support during this critical time for the people of Gaza. Since the attacks began on October 7th, 2023, the humanitarian crisis has worsened daily, with hospitals struggling to keep up with the overwhelming number of casualties and the severe shortages of medical supplies. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to make significant progress in providing essential medical aid to civilians affected by this ongoing conflict.
Our focus is currently on fully equipping and supporting The Patient Friends Benevolent Society (PFBS) Hospital in Gaza, which is offering medical services in a time of urgent need. Here’s how your contributions are making a life-saving difference:
- Life-Saving Surgeries: PFBS Hospital has begun providing timely surgeries for those who cannot afford medical care, alleviating the burden on overstretched public hospitals and ensuring that critical surgical interventions are available for the injured.
- Support for Mothers and Babies: We are ensuring that pregnant women, especially those facing high-risk pregnancies, have access to safe deliveries and urgent medical interventions. This support is vital to saving lives in a region where healthcare resources are scarce.
- Care for Children in Need: Pediatric care is a top priority at PFBS Hospital, where children impacted by the conflict receive specialized medical attention, addressing both injuries and illnesses exacerbated by the lack of healthcare infrastructure in Gaza.
Challenges We’re Facing
The situation remains dire. Gaza continues to face shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies, while the bombings and blockades make it increasingly difficult to get essential resources into the area. However, with your help, we try to ensure that the hospital remains functional and that those most in need continue receiving care.
Thank You
Your compassion and generosity are making an incredible impact. Together, we provide life-saving care, restore hope, and ensure that the people of Gaza know they are not alone. Thank you for standing with us and for your commitment to helping those in need.
With gratitude,
