The situation in Honduras is critical. It was super hard to make the decision to close the clinic temporarily as no one could get to the clinic. We are in a policed state where today the people are only allowed out of their homes once every 2 weeks. They could not get to the clinic as they could not get past the police posts on the roads.
This week we made the decision to pack up all our clinic supplies and take them to the hospital where they are desparate and dealing with the bulk of the effects of the COVID-19. We will deal with replacing ours at a later date. We had gloves, scrubs and various medical supplies.
Next week we hope we can get supplies through to Honduras from the States. We will continue to raise funds to feed folks as starving is definitely not healthy.
Pray for the poor, pray for the resources to come to us.
