Dear Prospective Donors, and friends
This project aims to provide mosquito nets for 1,500 new mothers in riverine area slums, rural, and underserved communities to protect them and their babies from malaria. In these areas, exposure to mosquitoes is constant, and pregnant or postpartum women are particularly vulnerable to malaria, which can lead to severe illness, complications, or even death. Many new mothers lack the resources to obtain mosquito nets, leaving them and their infants at high risk.
We have not received donations to start this project yet, but we are hopeful that support will come soon. Supplying mosquito nets will help prevent malaria, safeguard the health of mothers and newborns, and reduce hospital visits caused by mosquito-borne illnesses. Immediate support is needed to ensure these mothers and their babies can stay safe during this critical period.
