Unlock Academic Success: Join Our Call for Donation to Provide School Supplies for Homeless Students

By Jem Tumbaga | Resource Mobilization and Communications Officer

Education is an essential part of any child's future success, but sadly, for many homeless school-aged children living on the streets of Metro Manila, their education is hindered due to their families' dire circumstances. The lack of necessary school supplies, such as backpacks, pencils, notebooks, pens, paper, rulers, and other essentials, adds to the already challenging situation of these children.

Fortunately, there is a solution!

The EduKit Project provides school supplies directly to homeless school-aged children who are unable to acquire them. By donating to The EduKit Project, you can make a significant difference in the lives of these children and help ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed academically.

Last year, the EduKit Fundraising Project garnered an astonishing 57,000.00 pesos through monetary and in-kind donations. As a result, we were able to distribute complete sets of school supplies to 400 resilient street children and youth under our program.

This year, we aim to distribute school supplies to our 500 street children beneficiaries who are enrolled in formal school on July 31, 2023. Your support will enable us to provide these children with the resources they require to achieve academic success and create a brighter future.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children and help them overcome the challenges they face every day. Let's give them the chance to pursue their dreams and break the cycle of poverty!
