Dear Friend,
With your gift, water pipes have been bought.
By Leonard Nyongesa - Program Coordinator
Once again, this is the second report after we reported about mobilization, sensitization and community participation process in the project that was handled after the initial disbursement. We have treated this project as an emergency due to the global outbreak of COVID-19 virus. Our children and their families at the Centre of Love,Kibera may be more affected due to water scarcity. We are working to ensure this project is completed as soon as possible. So far, 5 tonnes of balast and stones, and water pipes have been bought and are being laid on the ground.
We thank all friends and well wishers for the continued gifts and the love that you have shown to this noble cause by donating. Out of the $22,110 goal, we still have a deficit of $18,517 so as to make substancial milestone to provide safe and clean water for drinking and hand washing. We need to purchase other materials such as water tanks, metals, water treatment machine, iron sheet, ballast, sand and cement. We can achieve this by continous daonation and widespread sharing of the project link to our networks.
Best Regards,
Leonard Nyongesa,
Programme Coordinator,
