Dear respected donors,
We're very grateful for your kindness and impactful donations. The project has not yet been carried out because, when we visited the schools to begin, the school authorities requested a letter of authorization from the FCT education board. They also advised us to obtain similar authorization letters from any other states where the project will be implemented.
The schools welcomed the project warmly and expressed deep appreciation to the donors, the team, and the organization involved. Both students and parents are joyfully awaiting our return. The sight of their smiles reminds us how much this project means. Many of the students cannot read at night due to lack of light, and when they try to read near cooking firewood, the smoke makes it unsafe. Bringing solar lanterns will change this reality for them and give them a chance to study in a healthy environment.
We will share another report with photos of the project once we receive the approval letters, which we expect this month. For now, we thank you for your kindness and patience. Your support has already put enduring joy on the faces of these children and their parents, and we look forward to showing you the impact in our next update.
