Provide Summer Camps for 500 Youth in Transylvania

Hello Friends,

It's that time of the year again when our town transforms into a snowy wonderland... well, for a few days at least! The cycle of snow, water, and ice seems to keep us entertained on a loop.

During these winter months, our volunteers embark on a special mission. We regularly visit the after-school clubs, anticipating their transformation into vibrant summer camps soon after the winter period is over. Our international volunteers join in, bringing the spirit of our summer activities to these villages. Alongside the fun, we also lend a helping hand with homework and other tasks, making these visits not just enjoyable but incredibly productive.

In villages like Csicsó, Csatószeg, Bánkfalva, Csomortán, and Delne, our volunteers become regulars, visiting these after-school clubs every week. It's a way for us to keep the children engaged and eagerly anticipating the summer. The activities mirror what we do during our camps, ensuring that their social and life skills remain sharp and that everything they've learned in the past year stays fresh in their minds.

We think that staying involved like this helps kids be more open, value what they know, and want to learn even more.
