Summer's almost here, and we're buzzing with excitement! April is that time when the promise of sunny days and outdoor adventures is in the air, but we're still in full swing getting everything ready for our awesome summer camps. From setting up our campsite to putting together tents and stocking up on s'mores ingredients, we're making sure everything's set for a summer to remember!
We've got some fantastic news to share – our community fundraising initiative was a smashing success! Thanks to the incredible kindness and support from people like you, we managed to raise enough money to buy a brand-new trailer. This will make it so much easier for us to bring all our camp gear to different locations, meaning we can reach even more kids, especially those in remote areas.
In a new collaboration with the Csibész Foundation, we're cooking up something special. We're planning to host two summer camps for several dozen orphaned children in Szentmárton. This is going to be a chance to not only give these kids a summer filled with fun and laughter but also to create memories that will last a lifetime.
While we're counting down the days until camp kicks off, our team is out and about, keeping the camp spirit alive! We're visiting afterschool clubs in various villages, getting to know the kids, and getting them super excited about what's to come.
Just last week, we delivered donations of a bunch of toys, board games, and educational goodies to the kiddos in Csatószeg. The smiles on their faces and the joy in their hearts was absolutely priceless – it's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do.
We can't thank you enough for your support and faith in our mission. Together, we're not just gearing up for a summer jam-packed with fun activities, we're laying the groundwork for a brighter, happier future for kids and communities everywhere. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us on this incredible journey. Here's to making this summer the best one yet!
