Sun Guardian Grant Program – Year One Summary
The inaugural year of the Sun Guardian Grant Program proved to be a strong success, highlighting both the need for sun safety initiatives and the enthusiasm of organizations to participate. In total, we received 102 grant applications from groups seeking support for programs that promote sun safety and skin cancer prevention.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the success of our fundraising efforts, we were able to fund 34 of these grant requests in our first year. This support enabled us to make a meaningful impact in communities across the country.
Building on this momentum, we are committed to growing the program and increasing the number of grants awarded in 2026, allowing us to extend our reach and further advance our mission.
