As part of our Audience Project, Arts for All will tour a professional children's show entitled "Stories - Live and In Person" FREE OF CHARGE to 2,500 in-need children in the greater New York area.
New York City is an exciting city full of so many artistic opportunities. At every corner there is another show to see, or another museum to explore. One would expect that no child would be without art in this vast city. However, with art being cut from schools, unfortunately, many of the children we serve have little to no opportunities to explore the arts. Often when our artists ask a group of the children we serve, "How many of you have seen a play," the majority do not raise their hands.
Arts for All is taking "Stories - Live and In Person" to over 2,500 children FREE OF CHARGE. We are taking the production directly to in-need schools, so children will not have any issues finding transportation or funds to see a professional show.
"Stories - Live and In Person" has valuable lessons for children, such as sharing, learning to listen, and respecting others. These themes will stay with children long after the show. Teachers will also revisit themes using provided study guides.
