Bringing Joy to Samar: A Journey from Silence to Sound!

Thanks to your generous donations, SEMA Team have reached another milestone worth celebrating. Seven-year-old Samar, who suffered from hearing loss due to brain atrophy, lived in silence, unable to interact with the world around her. Her family couldn’t afford proper treatment, but thanks to your support, Samar received a new hearing aid at SEMA Center. Today, she hears clearly for the first time and enjoys a new life filled with joy and interaction.
Seeing Samar's smile and hearing her laughter for the first time deeply moved us all. Your donations make a significant difference in the lives of children with hearing loss in northern Syria... Thank you for your generosity.

How Khaled is Doing: Your Support in Action!

We bring you an exceptional case of a newborn named Khaled, born with severe hemolytic anemia, a life-threatening condition. He arrived at one of SEMA's hospitals in northern Syria struggling to breathe, with high levels of bilirubin causing his skin to turn yellow.
Khaled was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit, placed in a phototherapy capsule, and underwent bilirubin breakdown while receiving respiratory support and a blood transfusion. All necessary treatments to stabilize his condition were administered, along with conducting blood and hemolysis tests.
We are monitoring his progress to wean him off the ventilator soon and support his nutrition and weight gain. In this journey filled with hope, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the generous donors who bring healing and life to these little ones.

Your Support Saved Little Askar's Life!

Dear Kind Hearts,
Thanks to your generous support, little Askar has a fighting chance at life after a harrowing fall into a well in northern Syria. He remains in a coma, but the quick response of the SEMA rescue and ambulance teams prevented a tragedy. The hours and days ahead are filled with hope for his recovery.

Life-Saving Interventions:
Askar underwent multiple critical operations, including:
- Stabilizing fractures in his foot and skull
- Treating severe crush injuries
- Monitoring lung and kidney functions
- Completing essential laboratory and radiological tests
We are hopeful for the best possible outcome and are giving our all to ensure his recovery.
