Dear Supporter,
Last Thursday, something extraordinary happened in northern Syria.
Thirty children heard the world more clearly again.
Thanks to your generous contributions, SEMA was able to provide and fit medical hearing aids for 30 children living with hearing difficulties.
The moment the devices were switched on, their reactions said everything.
A child turning toward a voice.
A sudden smile.
Eyes widening at a sound that had once felt distant.
Parents watching their children respond—and realizing that something had changed.
It felt like a door to life had opened again.
For these families, a hearing aid is not simply a medical device.
It can mean hearing a mother’s voice.
Following a teacher in class.
Responding when someone calls their name.
Joining conversations instead of living at the edge of them.
On that day, the children celebrated. Their families celebrated. And the SEMA team celebrated with them.
But behind this beautiful moment is another reality:
Many children are still waiting.
They are waiting for their turn to receive a hearing aid.
Waiting to communicate more easily.
Waiting to participate in school and family life.
Waiting to hear the voices of the people they love.
Your donations were the hope for these 30 children. Now, another child is waiting for that same hope.
Please continue this journey with us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
