Dear supporter,
Thanks to your generous contributions, SEMA’s kidney dialysis centers — a lifeline for more than 55 patients in northern Syria — continues to operate and provide life-saving treatment for those who need it most.
Your support came at a critical time. The center had been on the brink of closure due to severe funding shortages, and patients like Mrs. Izdihar, a 67-year-old grandmother displaced by war, were facing the terrifying possibility of losing access to dialysis altogether.
Because of your compassion, Izdihar and many others are once again receiving their essential dialysis sessions safely and regularly. You didn’t just give money — you gave time, hope, and the chance to live.
Each machine that hums in the ward today is a testament to your kindness. Each heartbeat sustained is a reminder that even in hardship, humanity shines brightest through people like you.
Looking Ahead...
The needs, however, are still immense. With ongoing challenges and rising medical costs, your continued support is vital to ensure that the center remains open and every patient receives consistent care.
Your generosity is saving lives — one session at a time.
Let’s keep these machines running, together.
With heartfelt gratitude,
