Dear Supporter,
Not long ago, we told you about baby Ghada — a fragile newborn in northern Syria who came into this world gasping for air, her tiny lungs barely able to function.
Her mother’s voice broke as she begged for help — not for comfort, not for rest, just for her baby to have a chance to live.
And then, you stepped in.
Because of your compassion, Ghada was admitted to SEMA’s neonatal intensive care unit. She received oxygen, medication, and expert care — everything her little body needed to keep fighting.
And today?
Ghada is breathing on her own.
The machines are gone. Her eyes are bright. Her chest rises with strength.
Her mother — once frozen by fear — now holds her daughter with a smile only a miracle can bring.
You didn’t just give money.
You gave life.
You changed the ending to her story.
From all of us at SEMA, and from Ghada’s grateful family: thank you.
But her story is not unique.
There are more newborns waiting — some already struggling, some just entering this world — who need urgent care to survive.
Your support can be the difference. Again.
With gratitude,
