Dear Supporter,
Thanks to your kindness and generosity, a powerful story of resilience and healing has unfolded.
Aisha, a brave woman from Northwest Syria, has long battled end-stage kidney failure. Despite the hardships of regular dialysis, she never lost hope—and one day, a kidney transplant gave her a new lease on life.
But the journey wasn’t over. Due to severe medical shortages caused by the blockade in her region, Aisha couldn't maintain the vital immunosuppressive therapy needed to protect her new kidney. Her immune system rejected the organ, and her condition tragically regressed, landing her back on dialysis.
When she arrived at one of SEMA’s main hospitals, she was in extreme pain. A collaborative team of nephrologists and urologists quickly sprang into action. Together, they performed a complex surgery to remove the damaged transplanted kidney—an urgent, life-saving step.
Today, Aisha is safe and recovering. She's back on dialysis and under close medical care, but most importantly—she’s alive, stable, and full of hope.
This would not have been possible without you.
Your support empowers us to act swiftly and compassionately in moments that truly matter.
Thank you for helping save Aisha’s life—and many others.
With heartfelt gratitude,
