On the morning of September 28th, we received the child Ali, 8 years old, at the door of Al-Farabi Hospital in northern Syria in a critical condition. He was suffering from severe and persistent cough, along with high fever, paleness, and general weakness.
His family spent a sleepless night while their child couldn't stop coughing, struggling to catch his breath.
Our medical team was fully prepared, following the optimal medical protocol to assess his condition. Intravenous fluids were administered, a chest X-ray was requested, and laboratory tests were conducted.
The reports revealed that the child was suffering from pneumonia, bronchitis, and respiratory tract infection.
Before the diagnosis was known, our team had already started an intensive treatment plan, providing respiratory support, anti-inflammatory medications, and continued care until he recovered and improved. He was discharged on October 5th after a week-long journey to recovery.
This wouldn't have been possible without your continuous support. The smile we see once again on our little one's face may have been lost forever without the free treatment covered by your generosity in our hospitals.
