We want to take a moment to update you on the current situation in northern Syria, where patients continue to suffer due to the severe lack of surgical care services in the region. Patients must wait for months, enduring pain and suffering, to access the life-saving surgeries they desperately need.
Your support for surgical sponsorships is critical in bridging the gap in the fields of surgery, anesthesia, and maternal surgical care in different regions, towns, and camps in northern Syria. Your generosity has already helped us perform over 1,900 surgical operations in our hospitals, including 219 surgeries in our obstetrics and gynecology hospitals, in the past June. Your support has also enabled us to use advanced techniques, such as endovascular surgery and laparoscopic kidney stone removal, to perform complex surgical operations.
However, the need is still immense, as nearly 5.5 million people live in the areas where we operate. Your support can make a life-changing difference to those who need it the most.
Together, we can make a difference and provide hope for those who are struggling to survive below the poverty line with limited access to income sources.
