When safety is lost you built them "Amal"!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporters,

In the city of Arbin, in Rural Damascus — a place marked by years of fear, trauma, and hardship — there was a desperate need for a space where children could feel safe again.

And thanks to you, that space is now real.

The “Amal” Child Protection Center has officially opened, funded by your generous donations.

It is a safe haven and healing space for children who have endured psychological and social challenges, and those living in vulnerable conditions.

This center is more than just a building — it is a lifeline that offers:

  • Psychological and social support for affected children
  • Educational, recreational, and interactive activities that restore joy and confidence
  • Family empowerment and awareness on child rights and protection methods
  • Case monitoring and follow-up for at-risk children in coordination with local authorities

“Amal” — meaning hope in Arabic — is not just a name. It’s a promise. A sanctuary. A second chance.

You made this happen.

You are the hope that rose with them.

Thank you for being part of this powerful achievement.
