Dear Supporter,
A few weeks ago, we shared with you the story of baby Ayham, a newborn who entered this world through a C-section, fighting for every breath. He suffered from a severe blood infection and dangerous breathing difficulties, and was placed in the intensive care unit at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria.
Today, thanks to your generosity and prayers, Ayham’s condition has stabilized. After days in the incubator, on oxygen, and under constant medical supervision, he is now recovering and preparing to be discharged. His parents, who are displaced and living in poverty, cannot find the words to express their gratitude—your kindness gave their baby a second chance at life.
Because of your support, Ayham survived.
But Ayham is not alone. Every day, newborns in northern Syria arrive in critical condition—needing urgent oxygen, antibiotics, and intensive care. With your continued support, we can keep saving more fragile lives like his.
With heartfelt thanks,
