Your kindness gave baby Aisha a chance to live!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

A few weeks ago, we shared the heartbreaking story of baby Aisha—a newborn girl who came into this world fighting for her life.

She was born through a difficult C-section. Her tiny lungs were too weak to breathe on their own, and she was placed in the intensive care unit at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria. Her parents, displaced and living in a tent, could only weep and pray beside her.

Today, because of your kindness, Aisha’s condition has improved.

She is breathing on her own for longer periods, responding to treatment, and slowly gaining strength. Her parents’ tears have turned from fear to gratitude.

Your donations made this miracle possible.

You gave a newborn a second chance at life.

But many other babies like Aisha are still fighting for survival in incubators across northern Syria—premature, fragile, and dependent on machines that run only as long as we can afford the supplies and power to keep them going.

Your continued support can save their lives too.

Each contribution helps provide oxygen, medicine, and the care every newborn deserves.

With heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation for your generosity and compassion.
