Dear Supporter,
We’re delighted to share an inspiring update from our Pink October Campaign for breast cancer awareness.
As part of this global initiative, SEMA organized an educational event at Ariha Maternity and Children’s Hospital, hosting a group of women beneficiaries. The event was held in collaboration with teams from SEMA’s Protection and Nutrition Departments, alongside our partners from Baher Organization.
The session focused on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, recognizing warning signs and risk factors, and included a practical demonstration of self-examination techniques.
Under the slogan “Your Awareness is Life,” the campaign aimed to empower women with vital knowledge that can help prevent breast cancer and reduce related mortality rates.
Midwife Safia, SEMA’s Reproductive Health Officer, emphasized that the Your Awareness is Life campaign was highly effective in strengthening health awareness among visitors and beneficiaries, delivering powerful messages about the importance of early screening.
Thanks to your continued support, SEMA is able to reach more women with life-saving education and preventive health services.
Together, we’re spreading awareness — and saving lives.
With heartfelt gratitude,
