Dear Supporter,
We want to share with you the story of Amira, a 67-year-old Syrian refugee whose life depends on the dialysis center you help sustain.
For years, Amira struggled with severe kidney failure. Her kidneys now function at only 5%, and she requires regular dialysis to survive. After spending two difficult years as a refugee in Lebanon, she returned to her village in northern Syria — exhausted, fragile, and entirely dependent on continued treatment.
Today, Amira receives life-saving dialysis at SEMA’s Dialysis Center in Kafr Takharim, the only facility she can reach and the only one she can rely on.
She told our team with tears in her eyes:
“This center is the only reason I am still alive. I just pray it never stops.”
Amira is a mother of five who endured unimaginable hardship during displacement, including the loss of two sons who were killed in the war more than 10 years ago. Yet despite all this pain, she continues to fight — and your support is part of her strength.
Thanks to your generosity, this dialysis center now provides life-sustaining care to over 40 kidney-failure patients who have nowhere else to turn.
Every session you help fund gives someone like Amira another day, another chance, another breath.
We truly hope you will continue standing with these vulnerable patients.
Your kindness is not just support — it is survival.
With gratitude,
