Dear Supporter,
We would like to share an important update about Baby Ali, a newborn who arrived at one of SEMA’s hospitals in Syria in critical condition. He was suffering from severe respiratory distress, rapid breathing, and serious infections that threatened his fragile life.
Ali was immediately admitted to the neonatal unit, where he remained under intensive care for more than five days. Thanks to the dedication of our medical team—and the support you so generously provide—his condition has begun to improve. His breathing has stabilized, the infections are responding to treatment, and this tiny child now has a real chance to survive.
Newborns like Ali come into the world facing unimaginable challenges: poverty, displacement, and the harsh realities of war. Without your support, life-saving care for these vulnerable babies simply wouldn’t be possible.
Thank you for giving Baby Ali the chance to breathe, grow, and begin his life with hope.
With gratitude,
